Project Description:
Negotiated, design/build 125,000 SF state-of-the-art tilt-up storage facility. 66,700 SF of 55′ clear high bay storage with automated crane providing 24/7 man-less operations 50,000 SF of 40′ clear high bay storage with covered loading docks and a truck scale. Project included three types of sprinkler systems: ESFR, FM 200, and standard wet sprinkler system. Third tallest tilt-up structure and the tallest storage facility in the world. Nine-acre site included extensive landscaping with indigenous plant material, and the construction of the wildlife refuge. The project’s site is unique in that it was one of the first industrial buildings in the United States to be recognized by the National Audubon Society as a natural habitat.
