Project Description:
Design/build renovation of an 80,000 SF existing secure facility which operated 24 hours, seven days a week during construction. Project included additional control center rooms, operations centers, computer rooms, administrative support areas, equipment rooms, and extensive electrical upgrades. Mechanical work included structural modifications for the installation of a custom manufactured 100-ton roof top unit. The Air Traffic Control Center (ATC) tracks all US flights and is the headquarters for all other ATC centers around the country.
